Why Primax Tools exists

Primax Tools started from a simple frustration. Compressing one photo or merging two PDFs should not require creating an account, waiting for an upload, or wondering where a contract ended up. Modern browsers are powerful enough to do this work themselves, so that is how we built every tool here.

What we offer

The site has 20 free tools in 6 categories: image tools, pdf tools, text tools, calculators, developer tools, generators & business. Each tool has its own page with a working interface, a short guide and answers to common questions.

How the tools work

Everything runs as JavaScript in your browser tab. Images are processed with the Canvas API, PDFs with the open-source pdf-lib library, code is minified with Terser, CSSO and html-minifier-terser, QR codes come from the qrcode library, and passwords are generated with the Web Crypto API. These libraries are bundled with the site, so no third-party service is called while you work.

Our principles

• Local first. Your files are not uploaded, stored or inspected.
• Honest results. If a compressed image comes out larger, we say so rather than hide it.
• Plain language. Calculators show their working and explain their limits.
• Accessible by default. Keyboard navigation, readable contrast and screen-reader labels throughout.
