What a good invoice includes
A clear invoice states who is billing whom, a unique invoice number, the issue date and the payment due date. Each line item should describe the work or product, the quantity and unit price. Totals should show the subtotal, any discount, tax and the amount due. Payment instructions, such as bank details or a payment link, reduce back-and-forth and help you get paid faster.
In this generator, discounts are applied to the subtotal before tax, which is the most common practice. Tax is applied as a single rate to the discounted subtotal. If your jurisdiction requires per-item tax rates, tax registration numbers or specific legal wording, add them in the notes and check local requirements.
Your data stays with you
Customer names, addresses and amounts are never sent to a server. The PDF is generated in your browser using pdf-lib with a standard font that supports Western European characters; for other scripts, use Print and choose Save as PDF, which uses your system fonts. Nothing is saved after you leave the page, so download or print your invoice before closing.

Is the invoice stored anywhere?
No. It exists only in this page until you download or print it.
Can I add my logo?
Not in this version. Your business name is displayed prominently at the top instead.
Why do some characters not appear in the PDF download?
The built-in PDF font covers Western European characters. For other scripts, use Print and choose Save as PDF.
Is this a legally valid tax invoice?
Requirements differ by country. Add any mandatory details, such as tax IDs, and check local rules.
