What it does well

Three page modes

Standard A4 and US Letter pages, or pages that match each image exactly.

Orientation and margins

Portrait or landscape, with margins from 0 to 50 mm. Images are scaled to fit without cropping or stretching.

Reorder freely

Move images up and down or remove them before generating.

WebP support

WebP images are converted locally to PNG before embedding, because the PDF format cannot hold WebP directly.

How images are placed on pages

For A4 (210 x 297 mm) and Letter (8.5 x 11 in) pages, each image is scaled to fit inside the printable area left after margins, keeping its aspect ratio and centring it. Small images are never enlarged beyond their natural size at 96 pixels per inch, which avoids blurry upscaling. In fit-to-image mode every page is sized to its picture plus the margin, which is ideal for screenshots and photos you will view on screen.

JPG files are embedded as-is without recompression, so they keep their original quality and the PDF stays compact. PNG files keep transparency. If the PDF is too large for email, run the images through the Image Compressor or Image Resizer first.

Frequently asked questions

Are the images uploaded?

No. Images are read and the PDF is built in your browser with pdf-lib, a library bundled with this site.

Will the PDF be searchable?

No. Images are placed as pictures; this tool does not perform text recognition (OCR).

Why is my PDF large?

JPG data is embedded unchanged and PNG photos are big. Compress or resize the images first for a smaller PDF.
