Writing page ranges
Page ranges use the same convention as most print dialogs. A single number selects one page, a hyphen selects an inclusive range and commas separate items. For example 1-3,5,8-10 selects pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10. Spaces are ignored and duplicates are removed. Pages are always exported in ascending order so the result reads naturally.
The range box and the visual grid stay in sync. Typing a range highlights the tiles, and clicking tiles rewrites the range in its shortest form, which makes it easy to check your selection on large documents.
Separate files and browser downloads
When you choose separate files, each page becomes its own PDF named after the original file and the page number. Browsers may ask permission the first time a site downloads several files in a row; allow it to receive them all. Splitting copies pages without re-rendering, so text and images keep their original quality. Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked in their original application first.
